Assam Public Service Commission (APSC), invites application from Indian Citizens for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government.

A. Assistant Director  09 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 12000-40000 with GP Rs. 5400/-
Age Limit: Minimum 21 and Maximum 43 years
Educational Qualifications & Essential: Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Town/City/Urban/ Regional Planning from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent.
Desirable: Associate ship of the Institute of Town Planners (India) or equivalent. (The desirable qualification is not mandatory for the said post).

B. Principal of BRM Govt. Law College under Higher Education Department, Assam  – 01 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 37400-67000 AGP Rs. 10000/- with special pay of Rs. 2000/-
Age Limit: 55 years
Educational Qualifications:(i) A Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade up a point scale wherever grading system is followed) by a recognized University.
(ii) A Ph.D. degree in concerned/allied relevant discipline (S) in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance.
(iii) Associate Professor/ Professor with a total experience of 15 (fifteen) years of teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other institution of Higher Education.
(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), as set out in this Regulation in Appendix – III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges.
(v) Relaxation of Master Degree from 55% to 50% will be applicable for SC/ST/Physically disabled persons as per relaxation given by the U.G.C.

(vi) Total experience of 15 (fifteen) years of teaching/research in Universities/ Colleges and other institutions of Higher Educations.

C. Inspector of Schools/District Elementary Education Officer/Deputy Director under Assam Education Service – 08 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 12000-40000 with GP Rs. 6300/-
Age Limit: 43 years
Educational Qualifications:Second class Master Degree having uniformly brilliant Carrier and possessing teaching experience in School or College for 10 (ten) years or administrative experience for 10(Ten) years of which 5(five) years must be in teaching.
