1. Horticulture Specialist {02 Post}
|
Eligibility
|
Officers under the Central/State Government/Union territories/Public Sector Undertakings/Recognized Research Institutes/Agricultural Universities/Semi-Government or Statutory or autonomous organizations:-
A (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) with five year’s service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular
basis in pay band-3, Rs.15,600-39,100 plus grade pay of Rs.5400/- in the parent
cadre/ department; and
(B)Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as under:-
(i) Master’s Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture or M.Sc.
(Horticulture) from a recognized University; and or equivalent followed by a PhD
in Horticulture of
(ii) Five years’ experience in the field of horticultural development/ horticultural
Research /horticultural extension from Government / Autonomous organizations of
the Government.

2. Post Harvest Technologist {01 Post}
|
Eligibility
|
Officers under the Central/State Government/Union territories/Public Sector Undertakings/Recognized Research Institutes/Agricultural Universities/Semi-Government or Statutory or autonomous organizations:-
(A) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
2
(ii) with Five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in pay band-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus grade pay of Rs.5400/- in the parent cadre / department; and
(B) Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as under:-
(i) Master’s Degree in Post Harvest Technology/Horticulture/Agriculture from a recognized University or Institute; and
(ii) Five years’ experience in Post Harvest Management in the field of Horticulture/Agriculture; or
2.(i) Doctorate in Post Harvest Technology /Horticulture/Agriculture from a Recognized
University or Institute; and
(ii) Two years’ experience in Post Harvest Management in the field of Horticulture/
Agriculture

3. Marketing Specialist/ Economist {01 Post}
|
Eligibility
|
Officers under the Central/State Government/Union territories/Public Sector Undertakings/Recognized Research Institutes/Agricultural Universities/Semi-Government or Statutory or autonomous organizations:-
(A) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) with Five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in pay band-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus grade pay of Rs.5400/- in the parent cadre / department; and
(B)Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as under:-
(i) Master of Business Administration (Marketing) or Master of Business Economics
or Master of Arts (Economics) from a recognized University or Institution; and
(ii) Five years’ experience in the field of marketing of agriculture/horticulture produce.

4. Administrative Officer {01 Post}

Eligibility
|
Officers under the Central/State Government/Union Territories:-
(A)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) with two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a
regular basis in pay band-2, Rs. 9,300-34,800/- plus grade pay of Rs.4,800/- in the
parent cadre / department; or
(iii) With three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a
regular basis in pay band-2, Rs. 9,300-34,800/- plus grade pay of Rs.4,600/- in
the parent cadre / department; and
(B)Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as under:-
(i) Degree from a recognized University/Institute; and
(ii) three years’ experience in administration, establishment and accounts work in a
Government office/ Public Sector Undertaking/ autonomous body/ statutory body.

5. Assistant Horticultural Specialist {03 Post}

Eligibility
|
Officers under the Central/State Government/Union territories/Public Sector Undertakings/Recognized Research Institutes/Agricultural Universities/Semi-Government or Statutory or autonomous organizations:-
(A)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) with two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a
regular basis in pay band-2, Rs. 9,300-34,800/- plus grade pay of Rs.4,800/- in the parent cadre / department; or
(iii) with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a
regular basis in pay band-2, Rs.9,300-34,800/- plus grade pay of Rs.4,600/- in the
parent cadre or department; and
(B)Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as under:-
(i)Master’s Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture or M.Sc.(Horticulture) from a recognized University; and
(ii)Three years’ experience in the field of horticultural development /horticulture
research/ horticulture extension from Government /autonomous organization of
the Government.

6. Senior Farm Manager {01 Post}

Eligibility
|
Officers under the Central/State Government/Union territories/ Public Sector Undertakings / Recognized Research Institutes/Agricultural Universities/Semi-
Government or Statutory or autonomous organizations:-
(A)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a
regular basis in pay band-2, Rs. 9,300-34,800/- plus grade pay of Rs.4,600/- in
the parent cadre / department; and
(B)Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as under:-
(i)M.Sc. in Horticulture / Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture from a recognized University; and
(ii)Three years’ experience in the field of horticultural crops production and farm
management from Government /autonomous organization of the Government.

7. Senior Technical Assistants {02 Post}

Officers under the Central/State Government/Union territories/Public Sector Undertakings/Recognized Research Institutes/Agricultural Universities/Semi-Government or Statutory or autonomous organizations:-
(A)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) with six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a
regular basis in pay band-1, Rs. 5,200-20,200/- plus grade pay of Rs.2,800/- in
the parent cadre / department; and
(B)Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as under:-
(i) Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture from a recognized University or Institute;
(ii)Two years’ experience in the field of horticultural or agricultural development
/horticulture or agricultural extension/ horticultural or agricultural research.

the parent cadre / department.

9. Field Assistant {02 Post}

Eligibility
|
Officers under the Central/State Government/Union territories/ Recognized Research Institutes/Indian Council of Agricultural Research and faculty of Agricultural Universities:-
(A)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a
regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 5,200-20,200/- plus grade pay of
Rs.2,000/- (Pay band-1); and
(B)Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as under:-
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in any subject or Diploma in Agriculture / Horticulture of a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.

10. Stenographer {02 Post}
|
Eligibility
|
Officers under the Central/State Government/Union territories/ Recognized Research Institutes/Indian Council of Agricultural Research and faculty of Agricultural Universities:-
(A)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis; or
(ii) with eight years’ regular service in post in the scale of pay of Rs. 5,200-20,200/- plus grade pay of Rs.1900/- (Pay band-1).
(B)Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as under:-
(i) 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Skill Test Norms:
Dictation: 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m
Transcription: 65 mts (English), 65mts (Hindi), (on computer)
