Ministry of Tribal Affairs and vacant in Ministry proper and National Commission of scheduled Tribes (including its regional centers) are proposed to be filled up on deputation basis for the following post.

 1.        Joint Director {02 Post}

Pay Band
PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 7600/-
Educational Qualifications
Essential: (i) Master’s Degree in Sociology or Social work or Anthropology or Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or Geography from a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Ten years experience out of which seven years should be in research or training or planning or evaluation or plan and project formulation relating to Scheduled Tribes and Tribal Areas or in implementation of social sectoral programmes or tribal development programmes and three years should be in statistical data collection and analysis.
Desirable: (i) Doctorate in sociology or social work or anthropology or economics or statistics or mathematics or geography from a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Three years’ experience of writing or editing articles on matters related to tribal laws etc., in leading national dailies or journals as evidenced through copies of published work.
Pay Band: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 6600/- (SI. No. 2 to 4)

 2.       Deputy Director {01 Post}

Educational Qualifications
Essential: (i) Master’s Degree in Sociology or Social work or Anthropology or Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or Geography from a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Five years experience out of which three years should be in research or training or planning in the field of Economic Development or Social Services or welfare of Scheduled or Social Services or welfare of Scheduled Tribes or in implementation of social pectoral programmes or tribal development programmes and two years should be in statistical data collection and analysis.
Desirable: (i) Two years experience in Tribal areas.
(ii) Doctorate in sociology or social work or anthropology or economics or statistics or mathematics or geography from a recognized University or Institute.
(iii) Two years experience of writing or editing articles on matters related to tribal development, tribal welfare, customary tribal laws etc. in leading national dailies or journals as evidenced through copies of published work.
 3.        Director {03 Post}

Educational Qualifications
Essential: (i) Master’s Degree in Social Sociology/ Social Anthropology/ Social Psychology of a recognized University or equivalent of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) 10 years experience in a supervisory capacity of work in planning or development of a social welfare organization or in the work relating to the welfare of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes. 
 4.        Deputy Director {02 Post}

Educational Qualifications
Essential: (i) Master’s Degree in Anthropology/ Sociology/ social work/ Economics/ Geography/ Human Geography/ Mathematics (with Statistics)/ Psychology of a recognized University or equivalent.
                                  OR
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with one or more of the above subjects followed by Post Graduate  diploma in Social Service Administration of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) 7 years experience of work in a supervisory capacity in planning or development of social welfare Organizations.
Desirable: (i) Adequate acquaintance with problems relating to the welfare of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes.
(ii) Experience of drafting reports/ statistical methods.  
 5.        Assistant Director {03 Post}

Pay Band
PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 5400/-
Educational Qualifications
Essential: (i) Master’s Degree Anthropology/ Sociology/ Social work/ Economics/ Geography/ Mathematics/ Human Geography/ with Statistics/ Psychology of a recognized University or equivalent.
                                   OR
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with one or more of the above subjects by Post Graduate diploma in Social Service Administration of a recognized University/ institution or equivalent.
(ii) 3 years experience in a responsible capacity of field work relating to welfare of Scheduled Tribes.
Desirable: (i) Experience of work in planning of development of social welfare.
(ii) Experience of drafting study/ survey reports/ Statistics.
