Applications are invited from the candidates willing to work in mission mode for engagement on Contractual Basis for the following posts under National Programme for Prevention and Control of Deafness (NPPCD), Assam.

1. Consultant {01 Post}
Pay Band: Rs. 50000/- PM
Educational Qualifications & Essential:(i) Degree/ Diploma in Community Medicine/ Preventive and Social Medicine/ Community Health Administration/ MPH/ MBA Health Care Administration from an institute recognized by MCI.
(ii) At least 3 years of experience after obtaining post graduate degree.
(iii) Experience of working in Public Health Programme preferably in Non-Communicable Disease (Desirable).
2. Programme Assistant {01 Post}
Pay Band: Rs. 15000/- PM
Educational Qualifications & Essential:(i) Bachelor degree from a recognized University.
(ii) Diploma in Computer Application (one year) with Adequate knowledge of MS word, Excel, Accesses, Power point presentation recognized by the council for technical education/ DOEACC.
Desirable: (i) English Typing – 35 words per minute.
(ii) Knowledge of filing, indexing and document Management.
(iii) Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
(iv) Proficient in drafting notes and letters in English.
3. Audiologist (Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologist) {09 Post}
Pay Band: Rs. 30000/- PM
Educational Qualifications & Essential:A bachelor in Audiology & Speech language Pathology/ B.Sc. (speech and hearing) from RCI recognized institute.
Pay Band: Rs. 50000/- PM (SI. No. 4 & 5)
4. Audiometric Assistant {13 Post}
Educational Qualifications & Essential:A technical person with 1 year diploma in hearing language and speech (DHLS) from a RCI recognized institute. The audiometric assistant will provide support to CHC in screening of HI persons.
5. Hearing Instructor for Young Hearing Impaired {09 Post}
Educational Qualifications & Essential:Diploma in training young deaf and hearing handicapped (DTYDHH) from RCI recognized institute to look after the therapy and training of the young hearing impaired children at the district level.
