National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an apex organization for Educational Research, Teacher Training and Development of Curriculum and Instructional material in school education, invites Online applications for filling up various teaching positions under direct recruitment for Demonstration Multipurpose Schools attached to their Regional Institutes of Education all over India. These posts are transferable amongst the constituent units of the Council located in Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar & Mysore.

1. Assistant Head Master
Pay Band: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 5400/-
Age Limit: Minimum 35 and Maximum 45 years
Educational Qualifications: (i) Master Degree from recognized university with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
(ii) B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree.
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4800/- (SI. No. 2 to 4)
Age Limit: 40 years (SI. No. 2 to 4)
2. Post Graduate Teacher
Educational Qualifications: (i) Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject Or Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
(ii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university.
(iii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
3. Post Graduate Teacher (Guidance Counsellor)
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) MA/M.Sc.(Psychology) from a recognized college or university + Regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. OR
(ii) MA/M.SC/M.Com with B.Ed/M.Ed. qualification + Regular one year post graduate Diploma in Guidance & Counselling
Desirable: Minimum of one year experience in providing Career / Educational Counselling to students at school. OR Working knowledge and experience in placement Bureaus. OR Registration with rehabilitation Council of India as Vocational Counsellor.
4. Post Graduate Teacher (Computer Science)
Educational Qualifications & Essential: At-least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following;
(i) B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognized by the Govt. of India. OR B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University. OR M.Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University. OR B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in subject from a recognized University. OR Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from recognized University. OR “B” Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject. OR “C” Level from “DOEACC” Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.
(ii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4600/- (SI. No. 5 to 10)
Age Limit: 35 years (SI. No. 5 to 10)
5.Trained Graduate Teacher
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The elective subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under:
(a) For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
(b) For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years.
(ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
(iii) Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
6. TGT (Music)
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) Four Years Integrated Degree Course of Regional Institutes of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subject OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subjects and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from recognized University. B.Ed. is not compulsory for the post of TGT Music.
(ii) Proficiency in Teaching in Hindi and English medium.
(iii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
7. TGT (Physical Education)
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) – Four Years Degree Course OR Three Years Graduation + One Year B.P. Ed. Diploma OR B.Sc. Physical Education; Health Education & Sports + One Year B.P. Ed. Diploma. Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
8. TGT (Commerce)
Educational Qualifications:(i) Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional Institute(s) of Education, NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR Second Class Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in the concerned subject in the aggregate including Elective and Languages in the combination of subjects with i) B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized University (ii) Knowledge of Computer Operations. Competence to teach through Hindi and English medium and knowledge of Computer Applications.
(ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
9. TGT (Agriculture)
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) Four Years Integrated Degree Course of Regional Institutes of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subject OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subjects and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from recognized University.
(ii) Proficiency in Teaching in Hindi and English medium.
(iii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
10. TGT (Dance)
Educational Qualifications:(i) Matriculate or equivalent examination.
(ii) Two years experience in recognized Ballet Troupe as a performing artists.
(iii) Two years experience in Dance work with children in a recognized dance school.
(iv) Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium.
(v) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
11. Primary Teacher
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4200/-
Age Limit: 30 years
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent.
(ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
(iii) Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4600/- (SI. No. 12 to 23)

12. WET (Dance)
Educational Qualifications:(i) Matriculate or equivalent examination.
(ii) Two years experience in recognized Ballet Troupe as a performing artists.
(iii) Two years experience in Dance work with children in a recognized dance school.
13. WET (Computer Sc.)
Educational Qualifications & Essential: Three years Diploma after Higher Secondary in Computer from an Institution recognized by State Govt./Govt. of India. The minimum qualification for admission to the Diploma Course should be at least Higher Secondary or Degree in Computer Science from a recognized University or B.Sc. (Tech.) B.Ed. from Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar/ Mysore/ Bhopal/ Ajmer.
Desirable: One year Practical Experience in any recognized Workshop/Institution. Competency to teach through English and Hindi Medium.
14. WET (Wood Work)
Educational Qualifications & Essential: Three years Diploma after Higher Secondary in Wood Work from an Institution recognized by State Govt./Govt. of India. The minimum qualification for admission to the Diploma Course should be at least Higher Secondary or Degree in Wood Work from a recognized University or B.Sc. (Tech.) B.Ed. from Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar/Mysore/Bhopal/Ajmer.
Desirable: One year Practical Experience in any recognized Workshop/Institution. Competency to teach through English & Hindi Medium.
15. WET (Fitting & Sheet Metal)
Educational Qualifications & Essential: Three years Diploma after Higher Secondary in Fittings & Sheet Metal from an Institution recognized by State Govt./Govt. of India. The minimum qualification for admission to the Diploma Course should be at least Higher Secondary or Degree in Fitting & Sheet Metal from a recognized University or B.Sc. (Tech.) B.Ed. from Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar/ Mysore/Bhopal/Ajmer.
Desirable: One year Practical Experience in any recognized Workshop/Institution. Competency to teach through English Medium.
16. WET (Electrical & Radio Engineering)
Educational Qualifications & Essential: Three years Diploma after Higher Secondary in Electrical & Radio Engineering from an Institution recognized by State Govt./Govt. of India. The minimum qualification for admission to the Diploma Course should be at least Higher Secondary or Degree in Electrical & Radio Engineering from a recognized University or B.Sc. (Tech.) B.Ed. from Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar/Mysore/Bhopal/Ajmer.
Desirable: One year Practical Experience in any recognized Workshop/Institution. Competency to teach through English and Hindi Medium.
17. WET (Info. Tech. ICT)
Educational Qualifications: Minimum B.Sc. Computer Science or B.C.A or Diploma in Computer Science or its equivalent.
18. WET (Agriculture)
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) Four Years Integrated Degree Course of Regional Institutes of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subject OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subjects and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from recognized University.
(ii) Proficiency in Teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
19. WET (Electrical/Electricity)
Educational Qualifications:(i) Matriculation or Higher Secondary.
(ii) Must have passed Diploma/Certificate in Electrical or Electronics from the recognized University/Board with teaching experience of 3 years.
(iii) Competence to teach in English & Hindi medium.
20. WET (Home Science)
Educational Qualifications& Essential: (i) Four Years Integrated Degree Course of Regional Institutes of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subject OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subjects and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from recognized University.
(ii) Proficiency in Teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
21. WET (Yoga)
Educational Qualifications:(i) Graduation in any subject or equivalent from a recognized University.
(ii) One year training in Yoga from a recognized Institute.
22. WET (Stenography)
Educational Qualifications:(i) Graduation.
(ii) Diploma in Stenography (English) from a recognized board/ Institute/ ITI/ Polytechnic College.
(iii) Experience of Teaching in Stenography (English).
23. WET (Edu. Tech.)
Educational Qualifications:(i) MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science.
(ii) Experience in Handling of Audio, Video equipments.

No application fees for SC/ST/PWD/Women/NCERT employees.
