Jadavpur University invites applications for a walk-in-interview in prescribed form for the following position on contractual basis to work under the MeiTY (GOI) funded NPPE Project, Phase-II in the School of Cognitive Science, Jadavpur University under the supervision of Dr. Lopamudra Choudhury, C.I. NPPE-II, School of Cognitive Science.

1. Junior Research Fellow – 01 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 16000/- PM
Educational Qualifications: Master Degree or M.Phil in Behavioral/ Cognitive Science or related discipline including Psychology, Philosophy (with specialization in Mathematical Logic), Mathematics, Neuroscience, any branch of Bio Science with basic knowledge of computer operation. Preferably research experience in any of the standard institutional research lab.
2. Lab Assistant (Contractual) – 01 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 10000/- PM
Educational Qualifications:HS in any subject with background knowledge, Diploma in Computer Applications (Hardware, networking and IT application in computer operation), handling and maintenance if lab computers. Aptitude for computer operation is desirable.
Note:- The candidates must report for the walk-in-interview with completed applications and original copies of mark sheets, certificates and testimonials on 4th October, 2016 at 12 noon, at the school of Cognitive Science, Darshan Bhavan, 2nd floor. Candidates failing to report to School of Cognitive Science office by 1.00 PM will not be allowed for the interview.
