The Competition Commission of India (CCI) on behalf of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs invites applications for filling up of various posts, as mentioned below.

1. Additional Director General – 01 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 37400-67000 with GP Rs. 8900/-
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) Officers of the All India Services or Central Civil Services Group ‘A’ or Autonomous Organizations or Regulatory Authorities or university or Academic or Research Institution etc. and
(ii) working in analogous post or grade, one year experience in Grade Pay of Rs. 8700, or five year in Grade pay of Rs. 7600 or equivalent and
(iii) Having experience in investigation/ enforcement of any economic/ regulatory law dealing with regulation/ investigation.
Desirable: (i) Bachelor’s degree in Law/ Economics/ Commerce/ Business/ Administration with finance & accounts/ CA/CS/Cost Accountant or any equivalent degree considered useful by the selection committee.
(ii) Experience in Competition Law/ Matters.
2. Joint Director General – 03 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 37400-67000 with GP Rs. 8700/-
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) Officers of the All India Services or Central Civil Services Group ‘A’ or Autonomous Organizations or Regulatory Authorities or university or Academic or Research Institution etc. and
(ii) working in analogous post or grade, having three years experience in GP of Rs. 7600, or six years combined service in Grade pay of Rs. 7600 and grade pay of Rs. 6600 of which at least two years service in GP Rs. 7600 or eight years service in GP Rs. 6600/- equivalent and.
Desirable: (i) Bachelor’s degree in Law/ Economics/ Commerce/ Business/ Administration with finance & accounts/ CA/CS/Cost Accountant or any equivalent degree considered useful by the selection committee.
(ii) Experience in Competition Law/ Matters.
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 7600/- (Sl. No 3 & 4)
3. Deputy Director General – 16 Post
Educational Qualifications: (i) Officers of the All India Services or Central Civil Services Group ‘A’ or Autonomous Organizations or Regulatory Authorities or university or Academic or Research Institution etc. and
(ii) working in analogous post or grade, four years experience in GP of Rs. 6600, or having a combined service of six years in grade pay of Rs. 6600/- , eight years experience in GP of Rs. 5400/-, Having experience in investigation under any economic law such as Income Tax, Customs, enforcement etc. dealing with investigation or gathering of intelligence.
Desirable: (i) Bachelor’s degree in Law/ Economics/ Commerce/ Business/ Administration with finance & accounts/ CA/CS/Cost Accountant or any equivalent degree considered useful by the selection committee.
4. Deputy Director General (Corporate Services) – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications: Officers having Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university and, Working in analogous post/ grade, five years experience in GP Rs. 6600 or equivalent in the relevant filed establishment/ Personal Management/ Secretarial Practices/ Administration.
Educational Qualifications: Officers having Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university and, Working in analogous post/ grade, five years experience in GP Rs. 6600 or equivalent in the relevant filed establishment/ Personal Management/ Secretarial Practices/ Administration.
(ii) Experience in Competition Law/ Matters.
5. Assistant Director General – 03 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 6600/-
Educational Qualifications & Essential: Officers having Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university and, Working in analogous post/ grade, five years experience in GP Rs. 5400, or six years in the grade pay of Rs. 4800, or seven years in the grade pay of Rs. 4600, or ten years in the grade pay of Rs. 4200 or equivalent in the relevant field (Establishment/ Personal Management/ Secretarial Practices Administration).
