Applications on plain paper as per format given in the advertisement are invited from the citizens of India and from such other persons declared eligible by the government of India for filling up the following posts in specified Group ‘C’ categories as listed below.

Pay Band: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with GP Rs. 1900/-
1. Cook – 01
Educational Qualifications:(i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
(ii) Must have knowledge of basic principles of India cooking and proficiency in trade.
2. Civil Catering Instructor (CCI) – 01 Post
Age Limit: 18 – 28 years
Educational Qualifications & Essential:Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board, diploma in Catering from Govt./ Pvt institute is a must.
Desirable: Should have knowledge of basic principles of Indian cooking and proficiency in the trade, degree in hospitality and hotel administration or bachelor in hotel management and work experience certificate from Govt./Pvt body is required.
Selection Procedure: (i) Application form should be as per format published in the advertisement.
(ii) Incorrect/ incomplete information in the application will render the application invalid.
(iii) Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection procedure for the specific post. The candidates will undergo a practical/ skill test which will be qualifying in nature. Only candidates qualifying in the practical/ skill test will be appearing in the written exams.
(iv) The number of posts/ vacancies is tentative. The recruitment process can be cancelled/ supervise/ terminated by the Commandant, 2 ASC Training Centre, Bangalore at any stage and his decision in this regards is final and no appeal will be entertained.
(v) Date of test/ practical proficiency test will be communicated to all eligible/ shortlisted candidates through call letters sent by post.
