Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, an Autonomous Organizations under Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India invites applications from Indian Citizen for the following posts for Teaching Departments and Administrative Department of MDNIY from eminent and experienced faculty/ experts in the relevant field to be filled up by Deputation/ Short Term Contract/ Direct Recruitment as per details given below against each post.

1.  Professor – 02 Post (Yoga Education – 01 No, Yoga Therapy – 01 No)
Pay Band: Rs. 37400-67000 with GP Rs. 8700/-
Age Limit: 50 years
Educational Qualifications:(i) A Post Graduate in Yoga with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university established under UGC Act; and
(ii) Ph.D. in Yoga Education or topic related to Yoga and actively engaged in Yoga research with evidence of published work.
(iii) Minimum 15 years of teaching/ research experience in Yoga Education, in the Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- (PB-III) or equivalent pay scale (excluding the period of Ph.D) in a University/ College/ Govt. Institution including autonomous or statutory organizations.
(iv) Minimum 04 research publications on Yoga in accredited/ peer reviewed journals.

2.  Associate Professor – 03 Post (Yoga Education – 01 No, Yoga Therapy – 01 No, Yoga Philosophy – 01 No)
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 7600/-
Age Limit: 45 years
Educational Qualifications: (i) Post Graduate in Yoga with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university established under UGC Act; and
(ii) Ph.D. in Yoga Education or topic related to Yoga and actively engaged in Yoga research with evidence of published work.
(iii) Minimum 10 years of teaching/ research experience in Yoga Education, in the Grade pay of Rs. 5400/- (PB-III) or equivalent Pay Scale (excluding the period of Ph.D.) in a University/ College/ Institution including autonomous or statutory organizations.
(iv) Minimum of 3 research publications on Yoga in accredited/ peer reviewed journals.

3.  Assistant Professor – 12 Post (Yoga Education – 02 Nos, Yoga Therapy – 02 Nos, Yoga Philosophy – 01 No, Human Consciousness – 01 No, Human Anatomy – 01 No, Human Physiology – 01 No, Bio-Chemistry – 01 No, English – 01 No, Hindi – 01 No, Sanskrit – 01 No)
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 5400/-
Age Limit: 35 years
Educational Qualifications For:
Ø Yoga Education: (i) Post Graduate degree in Yoga with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University established under UGC Act; and
(ii) Ph.D. in Yoga Education or topic related to Yoga and actively engaged in Yoga research with evidence of published work.
Ø Yoga Therapy, Yoga Philosophy & Human Consciousness: (i) A Master’s Degree in Yoga with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University established under UGC Act; and
(ii) Ph.D. preferably in Yoga Therapy or topic related to Yoga.
Ø Human Anatomy: (i) M.S. (Anatomy) or M.D. (Anatomy) or M.D. (Sharir Rachna). Or
(ii) M.Sc (Anatomy) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized of 55% marks from a recognized under UGC Act or by a recognized medical Institution.
Ø Human Physiology: (i) M.D. (Physiology)/ M.D. (Kriya Sharir) or
(ii) M.Sc. (Physiology) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University established under UGC Act.
Ø Bio-Chemistry: (i) A Master’s degree in Bio-Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University established under UGC Act; and
(ii) National Eligibility Test (NET) in subject Bio-Chemistry conducted by UGC/ CSIR.
Ø English: (i) Master’s degree in English with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University under UGC Act; and
(ii) Ph.D. in English; and
(iii) National Eligibility Test (NET) in subject English conducted by UGC/ CSIR.
Ø Hindi: (i)  Master’s Degree in Hindi with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University under UGC Act; and
(ii) Ph. D. in Hindi.
(iii) National Eligibility Test (NET) in subject Hindi conducted by UGC/ CSIR.
Ø Sanskrit: (i) Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university under UGC Act; and
(ii) Ph.D. in Sanskrit.
(iii) National Eligibility Test (NET) in subject Sanskrit conducted by UGC/ CSIR.
Age Limit: 56 years (SI. No. 4 to 6)

4.  Deputy Director (Finance and Administration) – 01 Post
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 6600/-
Eligibility: Officers, holding analogous/ equivalent post on regular basis, of Central Govt./ State Govt./ Statutory Organization/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs/ University or Research Institution. Or Section Officers/ equivalent post with 8 years/ experience in Administration/ Finance/ Vigilance in PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 5400/-

Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with GP Rs. 5400/- (SI. No. 5 & 6)

5.  Accounts Officer – 01 Post
Eligibility: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4200/- and with 8 years experience of regular service in that grade; or PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4600/- and with 5 years experience of regular service in that grade.

6.  Administrative Officer – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications:(i) A degree from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks.
(ii) At least 05 years experience in Administration, Establishment, Accounts work in a Govt./ Semi Govt./ Public Undertaking/ Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body, out of which 03/ 05 years experience in the scale of pay of Rs. 4800 and 4600 (PB-2) respectively or its equivalent grade in the respective Department.
