Applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment as Member on whole time basis in the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), New Delhi established under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 for five posts of Member out of which two posts are for Member with judicial background and three posts of Member (non-judicial).

Eligibility Criteria: In terms of Section 20 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, the eligibility criteria and the criteria for disqualification governing the Members of the NCDRC in brief are as under:
(i) Should not be less than 35 years of age.
(ii) Should possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and
(iii) Should be a person of ability, integrity and standing have adequate knowledge and experience of at least 10 years in dealing with problems relating to economics, law, commerce, accountancy, industry, public affairs or administration.
