Educational Qualifications: (i) Candidates must have minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject. A relaxation of 5% may be provided for the SC/ST/ differently-baled candidates. A relaxation of 5% of marks may be provided to the Ph.D. holders who have obtain their Masters Degree Prior to 19.09.1991.
(ii) Candidate must cleared the NET/ SLET/ SET conducted by UGC/ CSIR.
(iii) However the candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants commission minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph.D. degree regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET.
