Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) Ph. D in the subject Geo-Information/Remote Sensing &Geographic Information System (GIS) with good knowledge of related computer/IT applications.
Or
1st Class ME/M. Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent Post Graduate in Geo-Informatics/Remote Sensing & Geographic Information System (GIS)/Computer Science/Information Technology with four years experience in the application of Geospatial technology from Government/Semi-Government/ Private/academic organizations.
(ii) Punjabi up to Matric level. If not the appointee will have to pass Punjabi up to Matric level within one year.
Desirable: (i) The incumbent should have proven record of past work so as to ascertain his credentials to lead the team of Geo-Informatics professionals of the centre and to develop overall framework of the division.
(ii) Training/ Experience in using Remote Sensing and GIS technique in Geo-informatics/ Geospatial as evident from publications/ certificates/testimonials will be added advantage.
Assistant Programmer

Educational Qualifications: First Class B.E./B. Tech./ MCA/ M.Sc. in Information Technology (IT)/Electronics & Communication (EC)/ Computer Science (CS)/ Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Must have passed Punjabi language examination up to Matric or its equivalent level OR must pass within one year as per rule.
