Pay Band: PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000 with GP Rs. 8900/-
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) A First or High Second class (above 57%) Masters Degree in Entomology / Plant Pathology or in Agriculture / Botany / Zoology with specialisation in Entomology or Plant Pathology or Weed Science or Nematology or Vertebrate Pest Management. Preference for candidates with exposure to Agricultural Entomology / Plant pathology.
(ii) Ph.D. in the relevant subjects.
(iii) Minimum work experience of 17 years with at least 6 years of experience in Integrated Pest Management including teaching/training etc.
Desirable: (i) Advanced Training in Plant Protection.
(ii) Experience in management of projects/programmes including training programmes.
