Educational Qualifications: (i) Master’s degree in Science or degree in Engineering from a recognised institute or university or equivalent; and
(ii) Twelve (12) years experience in the regular Group – ‘A’ posts not below the and pay scale of Level-11 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th pay commission (6thCPC – Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100/- with GP Rs. 6600/- in Government Department or Institution or Central Public Sector Undertaking or University or Government Research Institution or Autonomous or Statutory body at the administration or managerial level with practical experience in matters relating to scientific, engineering or management aspects of pollution control; and
Desirable: Ph.D. in Science relating to Environment or M. Tech. in Engineering in a discipline relating to Environment from a recognised institute or University or equivalent.
