Professor
Pay Band: Rs. 37400-67000 with GP Rs. 10000/-
Educational Qualifications For: * Economics –(i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
(ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, with minimum 05 years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
(iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process.
(iv) A consolidated score of 400 points from category II & III as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the revised regulations of UGC 2016 (4th Amendment), as per format attached.
OR
(v) An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.
(vi) A consolidated score of 400 points from category II & III as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the revised regulations of UGC 2016 (4th Amendment), as per format attached.
* Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering – (i) B.E. / B. Tech. and M.E. / M. Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in B.E. / B. Tech. and M.E. / M. Tech.
(ii) Ph.D., in appropriate discipline. Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable.
* Architecture and Landscape Design – (i) First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture AND Master’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture AND First Class Master’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
(ii) Ph.D. in Architecture.
Associate Professor
Pay Band: Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP Rs. 9000/-
Educational Qualifications & Essential: (i) B.E. / B. Tech. and M.E. / M. Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in B.E. / B. Tech. and M.E. / M. Tech.
(ii) Ph.D. in appropriate discipline. Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable.
Desirable: The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research in a specific area of specialisation in terms of guidance of Ph.D. students, strong record of publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, technology transfer, laboratory / course development, and / or other recognised relevant professional activities.
Assistant Professor
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 with AGP Rs. 6000/-
Educational Qualifications: (i) Good academic record, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
