The Ministry of Power requires the services of a suitable candidate for filling up the vacancy in respect of the post of Director (Operation & Monitoring).

Pay Band: Rs. 37400-67000 with GP Rs. 8700/-
Eligibility: Officers under the Central Government:
(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent Cadre/ Department; or
(ii) with five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the pay band of Rs. 15600-39100 plus grade pay of Rs. 7600/- (Pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent Cadre/ Department; and
Possessing the following qualifications and experience:
(i) A degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent; and
(ii) Ten years experience in the monitoring of Power Grid systems;
Desirable: (i) Post Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
(ii) Experience in fuel management of Thermal Power Stations.
